During a meeting with Dr. Jihad Ramadan, Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, we were briefed on the Commission’s ongoing efforts to safeguard Palestinian culture and preserve its authentic components in the face of attempts at erasure and distortion.

The discussion also addressed the vital role played by the Commission in supporting the sectors of education, science, and culture, and in strengthening Palestine’s standing and active presence in academic and international forums. This is achieved through strategic partnerships and programs aimed at highlighting the Palestinian narrative and consolidating national identity within various scientific and cultural frameworks.

We emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts and ensuring the integration of national initiatives to protect Palestinian cultural heritage, develop projects that promote Palestinian culture globally, and reinforce its presence as an integral part of the broader human and civilizational identity.
